After starting a new life in Canada, Sandra discovered her passion for accounting and earned a diploma in Accounting Administration and Payroll Supervision from CDI College (now Trios College).
With over a decade of experience, Sandra has held key roles such as Office Manager, Senior Tax Associate, and Payroll Supervisor/Administrator. She is widely respected for her expertise, professionalism, and commitment to exceptional customer service. Sandra’s passion for her work is evident, and once you meet her, you’ll understand why she excels in this field.
Stephanie Melo-Garant
Bookkeeping & Taxes Assistant + Marketing Manager
Stephanie is the owner of SM Marketing & Management, where she oversees social media accounts and manages advertising for Sousa Bookkeeping & Taxes (SBT). A graduate of Mohawk College’s Office Administration Executive program, she is also certified in Social Media Management and completed the Fundamentals of Income Tax program in 2015.
Passionate about the digital world and technology, Stephanie is always eager to assist clients with their marketing and administrative needs. Receptionist & Office Administrator
Tom is the friendly face and voice that welcomes clients to Sousa Bookkeeping & Taxes. As Receptionist and Office Administrator, he handles a variety of tasks that keep the office running smoothly, from answering phones and taking messages to greeting clients at the door for drop-offs and pick-ups. He also supports the team with day-to-day office needs, ensuring that everything is organized and efficient.
Tom is a valued member of the team, well known for his humor, kindness, and the positive energy he brings to the workplace. Clients and colleagues alike appreciate the warmth he brings to every interaction. During the busiest time of the year, tax season. Tom plays an especially important role in keeping things on track and making sure the office runs seamlessly under pressure.
Outside of work, Tom enjoys watching football, reading a good book, and spending time with his new puppy.
